We’ve had some warm days lately, warm enough to wash my car last week!
Chase joined me in the driveway of course, he loves the hose any time of year!
Only problem, I now had a wet dog… the smell of wet dog? I think not.
Christmas is so close and I need a nice smelling dog!
So, it was time for a pre-Christmas bath!
Washing the car and getting a bath? That is some exhausting work!
It’s back! The elephant returns…
The elephant pool that is!
The pictures you can get of Chase are unreal and too funny!
There’s my beautiful boy 🙂
Plastic balls work here too! Chase loves crushing them, then swatting at them with his feet!
Chase plays volleyball with the plastic balls too!
The weather hasn’t been great lately. Lots of rain and surprisingly cold temperatures! This morning was gorgeous though!
Chase’s grandpa put up the clothesline this weekend, Chase was a little nervous of the steel stopper that was sitting in the middle of the line, he thought for sure it was going to fall on his head!
“My mother goes to school and has a job now… she has less time for me so I am now even more attached to her hip when she is home!” – Chase
** Don’t worry, Chase has his grandparents and papillon friends to keep him company while I’m gone 🙂
Had some hose fun in the backyard today!
According to the home scale Chase has gained 5lbs! Arg. Hopefully it’s wrong… or he can finally shed some lbs for once!
We do what I call “yard laps” now, where we run the length of the yard over and over again. It’s definitely helping, he use to barely be able to complete his laps, now he does it with ease! 🙂 I’ll be adding more laps very soon to make it harder for both of us 😉
Late is better than never!
Chase and I went for a Sunday drive on Sunday of course
He does not enjoy the car so I am attempting to get him use to it!
He has a hammock in the back so he does not fall in between the seats. I just bought him a new fuzzy blanket so he can use it in the car 🙂
We stopped at a long farm road, a covered bridge and a lake
The idea was to get Chase out of the car and out for a walk around so he knew good things can come from car rides 😉
The first stop he ran as far away as possible from the car and did not want to go back in.
The next two stops he stood at the bottom of the car door when I opened it and waited for me to pick him up! He has never done this before so it was a big step!
Hopefully I can get him to not run away from the door to the house when he hears me grab the keys to the car 😉
Spring is here, Spring is here!!!
The weather has been nice the past 2 days and is expected to be nice the next week at least!!
Naturally, we’ve been outside having fun in the sun!
And then there’s Joey, falling asleep while Jasmine and Chase run and play
Jasmine’s been a bad puppy! Digging in the mud the hose created when I was filling up the dog’s outdoor water dish
Jasmine drys off with the chair covers and the deck
Chase drys off in the grass

Chase is not a fan of fireworks so this is his preferred celebration method (also an activity he enjoys countless times throughout the summer!)
Chase is a water lover, that’s for sure! …. well minus swimming 😉
Chase enjoying his plastic pool again. This time he wins his fight against the hose!
